Providing a safe place

We ask that you treat all personal prophetic words as confidential. Permission must be obtained from the giver of National prophetic words before they are reproduced elsewhere. From time to time the Forum leaders will give public personal prophecies and these will be recorded. However, in the case there is a failure of recording we do ask that you make a record of the words given to you as soon as possible after they are given.

If you have a prophetic word to give and it is not an indicated time of open sharing then please consult with the leader for the day before bringing the word. In times of sharing please be specific and allow time for others to share.

 

GUIDELINES FOR PROPHETIC ACTIVATION

 

·        At training sessions prophetic words given are not usually recorded. Write out your word as soon as possible. Keep it in a notebook with the rest of your words given. Prophetic words given by team members are usually recorded.

 

·        Seek to edify (build up), encourage and comfort the other person (s) when ministering spiritual gifts. (1 Corinthians 14:3)

 

·        Avoid giving dates, mates, relationships and directional words.

 

·        Don't make any major decisions on a prophetic word you receive in an activation time

 

·        This is a special time and place for this. Don't do it elsewhere without proper oversight.

 

·        Outside of sessions – please do not give corridor, ‘parking lot’ (car park) or rest room (toilet) prophecies. We are accountable for the words we bring. Please follow prophecy protocols.

 

GUIDELINES FOR RESPONDING TO PERSONAL PROPHECY

 

The Five important principles:

 1.   It is important that you write out your prophecy
 2.

 Review your prophecy with someone else - someone in church leadership
 3.  Don’t move based on the words without confirmation and counsel
 4.  Prove every word with Biblical principles and the witness of the Spirit
  5.  Remember prophecies are always conditional

 

               

 

PRAYING THROUGH A PROPHETIC WORD

 

If you and accountable others have received a positive witness regarding this word:

 

1.      Ask the Holy Spirit to highlight the key areas

2.      Look at the 'flavour', detail & direction. Is it a 'now' word, confirming word or future/new word for you?

3.      What is God saying to you through the word?

 

·        What are the promises? – war with them

·        Are there blessings? – receive them

·        What are the gifts given to you? – activate them

·        What is your Kingdom identity? – walk in it

·        Has there been an impartation? – pass it on

·        Is there a mandate or command to act on? – be obedient

 

4.      What is the strategy to be made?

5.      Pay attention to character requirements of Scripture

6.      Pray through the prophetic word. (see 3 above)

7.      Align yourself with what God wants to do and in our life and about what He says about you.

8.      Declare and proclaim into being what has been said.

 

Sometimes prophecy has to be placed on the 'shelf' if it is not presently applicable. It may be only part of more to come. Wait to see if it will bear 'fruit'.
